Aternos problem

Post by Izonwreda »

Could you please make it so the plugin is directly downloable from Spigot website and not from an external site? this way aternos mods could put it plugin directly in their plugin download tab. it can't now because they have a rule that says the plugin HAS TO BE DIRECTLY DOWNLOADABLE FROM SPIGOT. I hope you can do something about it because now it's very hard to get it there if even possible and you have to use other hosting sides to play with this plugin on your server

Hello Izonwreda,

I apologize for the inconvenience, I have just sent an e-mail to Aternos customer service asking for the plugin to be made available to server administrators. (I have even linked them directly to your post as evidence of Aternos server admins complaining about this.) I will follow up with you once I get more information.

Update: Aternos seems to be unwilling to cooperate on this matter.

Unfortunately, my attempts to get Aternos to permit the use of the Herobrine plugin on their platform have failed. This means that users of their service will not be able to use this plugin. Since their approach to handling this request suggests that they are unwilling to accommodate their customers, my recommendation for server admins who want to use Herobrine is to use an alternative hosting solution. My recommendation would be to migrate to Apex Hosting. Unlike Aternos, Apex allows you to upload and use whatever plugins you would like to for your server. I use them as my hosting provider and have absolutely no complaints about the quality of their service.
