The Minecrafter's World: Our New Minecraft Server - Information and Server Rules

Hello everyone,

I am pleased to announce that today, in partnership with Apex Hosting, we are launching a new Minecraft server which we call "The Minecrafter's World." Our new server is hosted at minecraft.theprogrammersworld.net. As an additional safety measure for our server, we require all players to have registered Programmer's World accounts. For information on how to link your Minecraft account to your Programmer's World account, please see https://www.theprogrammersworld.net/mcreg.php. For users that are signed in to their accounts, this page is also accessible via the navigation bar under "My Account → Minecraft Server Registration".

In an effort to ensure that the Minecrafter's World is enjoyable and safe for everyone, all players are required to adhere to the following rules:

Do not engage in bullying or harassment of other players.
Do not spam the server chat.
Do not engage in business transactions (buying or selling) via the server chat.
Do not engage in political discussions.
Do not use profanity in the server chat.
Do not request OP access to the server.
Although we use GriefPrevention to allow users to claim plots of land, do not grief unprotected areas which are clearly designated as belonging to someone else.
Do not engage in illegal activity as defined by United States law.

Players found to be in violation of these rules can expect anywhere from a warning to a ban depending on the severity of their violation. We reserve the right to take action against problematic players at our discretion.
